Setup Telegram Bot

PolyOrbit integrates directly with Telegram to provide a low-latency mobile interface for your trading operations. This allows you to monitor your Chains and execute quick trades without needing to access the desktop dashboard.

Linking Your Account

To ensure security, the link between your Telegram account and your PolyOrbit Web3 identity must be authenticated via a unique pairing code.

Step 1: Generate Pairing Code

  1. Log in to the PolyOrbit Web Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Settings page and select the "Integrations" tab.

  3. Click the "Connect Telegram" button.

  4. The system will generate a unique, 6-digit one-time password (OTP). This code is valid for 5 minutes.

Step 2: Initialize the Bot

  1. Open Telegram on your mobile device or desktop.

  2. Search for @PolyOrbitBot (ensure you check for the official verification badge to avoid imposters).

  3. Tap "Start" to begin the conversation.

Step 3: Authenticate

  1. The bot will prompt you to enter your pairing code.

  2. Type /start [your-6-digit-code] and press enter.

  3. Success: The bot will reply with a confirmation message: "✅ Wallet Connected: [Your_Wallet_Address]".

Security Architecture

It is important to understand that the Telegram Bot does not hold your private keys.

  • The bot acts as a remote control for the PolyOrbit Engine.

  • When you issue a command, the bot sends a request to the API.

  • The API validates the request and executes it using your authorized Session Key.

  • If your Session Key expires, the bot will be unable to execute trades until you re-authorize via the web dashboard.
