Prerequisites
Before you begin automating your trades on PolyOrbit, you must ensure that your environment is correctly set up. PolyOrbit interacts directly with the blockchain and the Polymarket protocol, requiring specific tools and assets to function.
Please ensure you have the following items ready before proceeding.
1. A Supported Web3 Wallet
You need a non-custodial wallet to interact with the application. PolyOrbit supports both EVM (Polygon) and Solana environments to ensure broad compatibility.
Recommended Wallets: Phantom (Multi-chain), MetaMask, or Rabby Wallet.
Requirement: Your wallet must be capable of signing transactions and managing assets on the Polygon network.
2. USDC (USD Coin)
Polymarket settles all trades in USDC. You must have a sufficient balance of USDC on the Polygon Network to cover your initial bets and automation strategies.
Note: PolyOrbit does not charge subscription fees, but you will need a small amount of MATIC (Polygon) to pay for network gas fees during the initial setup and settlement phases.
3. A Polymarket Account
While PolyOrbit manages the automation, the underlying trades are executed on Polymarket.
Ensure you have accessed Polymarket at least once to initialize your proxy wallet on the blockchain.
PolyOrbit will interact with this existing proxy wallet to execute your defined chains.
